Tom Kerridge presents Pub in the Park

Disclosure: I have been sent tickets for Pub in the Park in exchange for writing this post.

I’ve mentioned before how much I love Tom Kerridge’s food. We’ve been lucky enough to eat at The Hand & Flowers several times now,  and have also eaten at The Coach a couple of times too. So I was so excited when I found out that Tom Kerridge was organising a festival in Marlow.

Between 19th – 21st May this year, Tom Kerridge and some of his Michelin-starred chef friends will be down at Higginson Park in Marlow, with pop-up restaurants and live cooking demonstrations.

There will also be an Artisan Food and Drink Market with produce from local suppliers, as well as stalls selling beautiful homewares and kitchen accessories.

And what is a pop-up pub without great entertainment? People who have been lucky enough to get tickets have the option of going on a river boat cruise, or can play classic pub games on the lawn. At the end of each night there will be some fantastic music acts on the riverside stage.

I’m going on Saturday evening, with Chris and my parents, and of course Isla. Although she’s been to The Coach with us before, she’s not yet tried any of Tom Kerridge’s food. I was enjoying it too much to share it with her! I’m sure she’ll get to try plenty of Michelin-starred food while we are at Tom Kerridge Presents Pub in the Park.

On Saturday evening Tom’s guest chefs will be Candice Brown (Great British Bake Off 2016 winner), Atul Kochhar (Sindhu at Compleat Angler in Marlow) and Jonny Lake (Head chef at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck in Bray).

Unfortunately for many, tickets to this event sold out ridiculously quickly, but I’ve heard that there is a strong possibility of another one being held next year if this year goes well. (What’s not to go well? Great food, great music, great weekend!) So to make sure you’ve got a chance to attend next year, sign up for the newsletter so you can get priority tickets!

If you’d like to see what’s going on over the course of the weekend then click here. If you want to keep up to date with similar things to this (Tom Kerridge previous did a Pop Up Picture House at the beginning of the year, that sold our equally as fast!) then click here and sign up to the newsletter. The next event on the cards round here is Rick Stein’s Sunset Cinema at Cliveden House!

Don’t forget to check back here after 19-21st May so you can read my review of what I thought about Tom Kerridge Presents Pub in the Park! As Tom would say, it’s going to be lush!
