When Isla was 5 days old we got home from her hospital checks to a package on our doorstep. It was a lovely personalised photo album from my brother.

And ever since I’ve been meaning to put some photos in there!

When Isla was about 15 months old I spent a long time sorting out photos that I wanted to print out…but I just never got around to printing them out!

I decided the only way I was going to get them printed out was to put it on my list.

It still took me over 8 months of working on this list to get them printed out. And I do think that I probably only got them done because a) I had a couple of apps that give you a certain number of prints free a month (Snapfish mobile, and Freeprints, just have to pay P&P *not an AD!*) which started me printing them, and then b) we were printing loads of photos for a couple of albums we were doing as birthday presents for some friends, and needed some more photos printed out to get over a certain amount to make it loads cheaper to get them printed.

This was in July. So yay, printed out…the problem was my task was only to get them printed, stupidly. So they sat until December before I started putting them in the photo album! Also, part of the problem is that they didn’t come arranged in date order, and so I had to sort through them all and arrange them before I could start sticking them in.

This was then halted, as we started to get the house ready to sell, and so the box of printed photos was put away, and didn’t come out again for four months! I decided I wanted to get it done though. And so one night I dug them out, finished putting them in date order, and started sticking.

And then I ran out of the double-sided craft mounts I was using to stick them in. I managed to stick in just over 60 photos before I had to stop and plan a trip out to the craft store the next day, but that was a fail as I couldn’t find any like I wanted so had to resort to Amazon!

I then ran out of room in the album, with still a lot of photos left, so have now ordered a new album as well….now I’ve run out of photos, so am printing more out! I can see this being a vicious circle! The album I have just bought though holds 500 photos, and I’ve still got about 350 spaces left, so i think I’m OK for a while. Having said that, I have only printed out up to September 2017, so I could probably easily fill this one before I get up to date!

Either way. The purpose of this goal was to print out enough photos to fill up the photo album that my brother bought for us when Isla was born. Task complete!
