Living Arrows – 6/52 {2018}

Kahlil Gibran – “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Living Arrows

Each week I link up with Living Arrows, a linky hosted by Donna from What The Redhead Said.  As Donna explains the project takes its name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran called On Children.

So every week I’ll be posting a photo of Isla from the last week that captures a moment of childhood.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend. I certainly have! It was my birthday on Saturday and I really was treated. A night away in a spa hotel, afternoon at somewhere very posh, a pedicure, and tickets to see a Shakespeare play in at the RSC in Stratford in a couple of weeks!

A night away. Our first actually since Isla was born. So Grandma and Grandpa came to look after her, and she didn’t even really notice we’d gone!

Isla has recently discovered a love for stickers. Or ‘stick’ as she calls them. The more the better usually, and no one really escapes them. For some reason they usually have to go on people’s faces. But they get taken on and off so much they lose their stick. Though they somehow manage to stick to the bottoms of socks…and I seem to spend half my life picking them out of the washing machine!!!
