Living Arrows 2018

Living Arrows – 4/52 {2018}

Kahlil Gibran – “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Living Arrows

Each week I link up with Living Arrows, a linky hosted by Donna from What The Redhead Said.  As Donna explains the project takes its name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran called On Children.

So every week I’ll be posting a photo of Isla from the last week that captures a moment of childhood.

This week Isla has decided that instead of using a spoon to eat a yogurt she would just drink it straight from the pot instead. My girly is such a crazy character at the moment.

Living Arrows - 4/52 {2018}

This week she has sat watching TV with a doll’s cot on her head, she has decided that the toy frog we have needed to go in her sleep bag, she has been wrapping herself (and us!) in her dolly’s blanket, she’s been putting the oven gloves on and been trying to open the oven!

She is changing by the day,  her vocabulary is growing,  she understands so much, and we’ve now got to the point where I really need to rein in my language!!!!

    She sounds like such a character – and if I could get away with it I would definitely eat yogurt without a spoon too! x
