Living Arrows 2018

Living Arrows – 2/52 {2018}

Kahlil Gibran – “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Living Arrows

Each week I link up with Living Arrows, a linky hosted by Donna from What The Redhead Said.  As Donna explains the project takes its name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran called On Children.

So every week I’ll be posting a photo of Isla from the last week that captures a moment of childhood.

This week is a photo of Isla playing with one of her “Christmas” presents from me and her Daddy. I say “Christmas” because we actually bought it after Christmas! We popped into Asda on 27th to grab a couple of bits before heading to Nana Jan’s, and they had this Little Tikes kitchen on sale for £15. Which I thought was a total bargain! We also bought Isla a shopping basket with a few more food bits in for £5 from Wilkos, as there was no fruit or veg in the Little Tikes kitchen, just boxes and cans of food.

Isla absolutely adores playing with her kitchen. She puts the pans on the hobs, and stirs, and tastes the food (she’s obviously been watching Grandma cooking!!)…and then puts everything away in the cupboards (she’s obviously NOT been watching Daddy cooking!!) Anyone that comes round to see us gets dragged over to the kitchen to play with it. Definitely £20 well spent I think!

    Every child needs a play kitchen – and £15 is an absolute bargain! She looks like she’s loving it x
