Living Arrows 2018

Living Arrows – 11/52 {2018}

Kahlil Gibran – “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Living Arrows

Each week I link up with Living Arrows, a linky hosted by Donna from What The Redhead Said.  As Donna explains the project takes its name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran called On Children.

So every week I’ll be posting a photo of Isla from the last week that captures a moment of childhood.

This week we popped down into our local town to drop some bits and pieces at the charity shop, and obviously had to make a trip to the park while there. Isla loves going to the park. What small child doesn’t?

She spent ages on the swings, as always, but mostly she was just running around lots following another small child!

Isla has really started to take a liking to certain toys. She has a knitted teddy she has to have at bedtime, and the others just vary day by day. On our trip to the park she chose a monkey, and carried it around with her everywhere. It was so cute. The only problem was when she was trying to get monkey to jump in the puddles with her! Thank God for washing machines!!

    She looks like she’s loving life on that swing – the park is just such a simple pleasure x

    I do sometimes wonder if we miss doing the smaller things like going to the park because we are so busy trying to do the bigger things! I am taking Kipper to the park this week! Thank you xx #Livingarrows
