So without further ado, let’s Come Dine With… Theo Plus Grace

Stephen King –  I have read all of his books and I do like a horror/thriller. I would like to know where he gets his inspiration from. Is it from growing up in small town America? Is horror actually all around us? I would love to ask him about the true crime genre in television at the moment and if any of his characters need to be revisited. What does he think of the remake of IT? Is there a horror story that he is working on at the moment?  If Stephen did start acting oddly thou the dinner party might have to be cut short.

Prince –  I love Prince’s music and it really has been a soundtrack for my life. So many good memories and good times, backed with one of his songs. How did he stay so inspired throughout his whole life? He wrote music every single day and supported female musicians when he was alive. Is there anything else he wished he had fulfilled? In his honour I think the decoration for the table would have to be purple. I can imagine Prince being someone to have a great evening with.

Carrie Fisher –  I loved her as Princess Leia. Strong, feisty, everything a contradiction from my childhood fairy stories. I would love to ask her if she felt hemmed in by Leia or type-cast. She definitely allowed me to feel as a child that I could do what I wanted. That being a leader doesn’t mean you are bossy, you are getting stuff done. I would also like to know her personal views on Harvey Weinstein and her take on Hollywood. I would have liked to know her rather then the persona.

Madonna –  I think that if I could get a menu right for her then we would be on to a winner. I would love to know how she handles being copied by other artists; is she flattered? Where is she going next? Will she ever retire from making music? I think she has a very unusual nasally voice. Her and Prince were friends so that would make it easier to break the ice. I remember reading in an interview that when Madonna goes to a house party and starts dancing that everyone stops and watches her rather then continuing to dance. She would be welcome to dance at my house after dinner, I usually dance to disco while washing up so if she is willing to weald a tea towel then Madonna is welcome anytime.

Grace O’Malley –  The pirate. Born in Ireland and a female pirate who brought together a terrifying band of pirate who robbed and pillaged the coast. She had long red head and I would love to hear about her stories and tales of life on the seas and what drove her to become a pirate queen. My daughter Grace is named after her. I actually think she may well be the second coming for Grace O’Malley as Grace often sounds like a pirate and is often swinging a sword over her head. You want some different guests who all might mesh well so a grog loving pirate and my other invited guests would be so interesting. I think Grace would also keep Madonna in line.

Nigella Lawson – The cook and food writer. By her own admission she is not a Chef. I love Nigella. I am not allowed to cook from her Nigella Express book any more as my husband gained quite a bit of weight after a month of Nigella recipes. She loves food, she loves wine and she loves dinner parties. I love Italy like she does and have travelled around for work. I have done a few of the same roles s she has and I love cooking. I now teach fashion and textiles with a bit of food preparation and nutrition GCSE. I share a lot of similarities with my baking, I too often find myself baking with overripe bananas and I eat so much avocado that it’s surprising there is not a shortage in Norfolk. I too think my hair is glossier by eating them. I just think she would be a sparking guest and I would hope she brings some hokey pokey or fudge with her. It would be rude not to. I think it would be a great night, I have no idea what I would serve thou.

Thank you for the invite to your come dine with me series. I still think a pirate would be the dream guest, Grace does sounds exactly like her namesake, Grace O’Malley
