Every Friday I’ll be posting another dinner guest wish list in my guest series, Come Dine With…
This series asks all sorts of bloggers who their dream dinner guests are, and why. As you’ll find out there is quite an eclectic mix! This weeks dinner guest wish list is from Lisa. You can find Lisa’s blog over at That British Betty.

So without further ado, let’s Come Dine With… That British Betty
Gay Talese – He is one of my all-time idols and a well-respected journalist. I find his career absolutely fascinating and would love to talk to him about his interviews, especially with the mafia for his book, ‘Honor Thy Father’.
Dita Von Teese – I follow 50’s fashion closely and am inspired by her glamorous elegance. I like to think she would share a few style tips too!
Stephen Fry – He is such an intelligent, funny person and I’d love to hear about his travels, particularly across the USA.
Julia Child – As a keen cook, Julia’s story is one I adore (Julia Child adapted sophisticated French cuisine for mainstream Americans, collaborating on a two-volume cookbook called Mastering the Art of French Cooking, which was considered groundbreaking at the time). Julia was 32 when she began cooking so is also proof that it’s never too late to start doing something new. Her quote ‘The only time to eat diet food is while you’re waiting for the steak to cook’ is one of my favourites and I like to think I could rope her in to help me cook the dinner too 😉
Dave Grohl – I’m a big Foo Fighters fan and Dave always seems so down to Earth in interviews. His lyrics are often moving and I’d like to learn more about the inspiration behind them.
Johnny Cash – Similar reasons to Dave Grohl, I love his music and again, am a big fan of the 50s/rockabilly era. I’d have to get a photo/autograph for my Dad who is the reason I discovered Johnny Cash’s music as a child (I grew up on it!)
