Every Friday I’ll be posting another dinner guest wish list in my guest series, Come Dine With…
This series asks all sorts of bloggers who their dream dinner guests are, and why. As you’ll find out there is quite an eclectic mix! This weeks dinner guest wish list is from Mary. You can find Mary’s blog over at Over 40 and a Mum to One.

So without further ado, let’s Come Dine With… Over 40 and a Mum to One
James Hunt – Formula One world Champion 1976 and my childhood hero, a true legend in Formula One. A man with real character who was never afraid to mince his words, a real character, and someone I was very lucky to meet a few times in the 1970’s when he was racing. I’d like to be able to have an adult conversation with him, rather than the conversations I had as an 8-9 year old.
Simon Reeve – travel writer and broadcaster. I love his TV travel series’s and was fortunate enough to hear him talk at Countryfile Live last summer. He’s fascinating to listen to and I’d love to listen to more of his travel stories.
Sebastião Salgado – black and white photographer. I’ve discovered his work through the photography course I’m doing and his work is breathtaking. He’s traveled the world capturing moments of life and I would love to listen to his experiences and get some tips first hand.
John Taylor – bass player with Duran Duran and someone I spent many teenage years drooling over. I was a hug Duran Duran fan, went to so many concerts but never had the opportunity to meet the band in person. I’d love to have dinner with the whole band, but if i had to pick one it would be John. I read his autobiography a while back and he’s a real case of not judging a book by its cover.
Madonna – showing my age again, but I just love her music, she is the sound of my young adulthood, attitude and all. I’d love to see the woman behind the image and see if she’d give us a private gig.
Judi Dench – such a wonderful actress and someone I’ve loved watching on TV and in films since my childhood. She’s an icon and I bet she has some wonderful stories to share.
Don’t forget to check out Mary on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Google+, Pinterest and Instagram too!
