So without further ado, let’s Come Dine With… Mrs Bishop’s Bakes and Banter

Kate, The Duchess of Cambridge –  How I admire and adore everything about Kate – I would love to chat to her, our two eldest kids are similar ages and the same sex, and I think we would laugh endlessly about #mumlife. I think she is elegant and wonderful – and such an inherently good person. I’d adore seeing her in a relaxed environment ‘off duty’.
Zoe Sugg (Zoella) – Zoe and I are a similar age, I have been following her vlogs for many many years now, and I feel we’ve grown together. I love her style and own many ‘pieces’ myself after seeing her wear them. She honestly inspires me daily – with her zest for life, her amazing work ethic, her openness about her anxiety struggles and her determination to overcome them. I am IN LOVE with her amazing home in Brighton, and we have very similar taste in almost all areas of life. I am so drawn to her warmth and sunshiney personality – I think she is a wonderful role-model for young women in their twenties and thirties.
Gi Fletcher (Author, Vlogger, married to Tom Fletcher) – Why Gi? Why not Gi!! She’s again someone who’s social media platforms I’m constantly drawn to – I find her so down to earth and ‘real’. Over the years I’ve really enjoyed her books, vlogs and more recently her amazing podcast ‘Happy Mum, Happy Baby’ where she interviews high-profile mothers about motherhood: the ups, the downs, and everything in-between. She is such an empowering figure for mothers: and again, we share many loves and interests, which I think would make for easy conversation, lots of giggles and lots of shared-ground to cover.
Jools Oliver (Wife of Jamie Oliver, mother, Little Bird clothing range designer) – There is something about Jools Oliver that makes me so drawn to her – I remember loving it when we’d get a glimpse of her with Jamie back in the early days of The Naked Chef, jumping on his scooter with him – I thought they were an amazing couple then, and I still do. I love that their relationship has stood the test of time: all those children and all that fame and hard work, and she still seems so Jools, so unaltered in a brilliant way. I would love to chat with her about all things motherhood, about food and just watch the conversation flow between us all.
Geri Horner (nee Halliwell, Ginger Spice) – It couldn’t be a girl power dinner party without the ULTIMATE girl power girl. I have loved Geri since I was an 11 year old girl, reciting 2-become-1 and learning the dance moves in my bedroom. Aside from loving her music, I have also read all of her books (I especially love her autobiographies ‘If Only’ and ‘Just For The Record’) I’ve bought her children’s books for my own children, and have followed her life across social media since her Spice Girl days. I think her personality is infectious. I adore her naughtiness, her raucousness, her ability to laugh at herself and not take life too seriously. I think she has done amazing things for women’s rights charities, for education and in her role as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN. I also relate to her struggles in early life with food and eating disorders, and think she is an amazingly positive role-model to all women, especially working mothers.
Kate Winslet (Actress) – Kate is perhaps my ultimate girl-crush. I think she is one of the most talented actresses in the world, which inspires me hugely, as a trained actress myself. I would love to chat with her for hours about her craft – I bet she has so many amazing stories to tell. I think she would be immensely good-fun and would fit into the dynamic of the group perfectly with her intelligent chat and good humour.
