Come Dine With…Mother Of All That Is Perry
Every Friday I’ll be posting another dinner guest wish list in my guest series, Come Dine With…
This series asks all sorts of bloggers who their dream dinner guests are, and why. As you’ll find out there is quite an eclectic mix! This weeks dinner guest wish list is from Erin. You can find Erin’s blog over at Mother Of All That Is Perry.
If you are a blogger and would like to take part in Come Dine With…. please contact me here.
So without further ado, let’s Come Dine With… Mother Of All That Is Perry
Henrik Larson – Well Henrik Larson is the man I wanted to name my first born son after but after very little deliberation over the sectarianism in Glasgow and the thought of our peeley wally wee Scottish boy running around known as Henrik we decided to go it’s Kieran instead. Can you tell which team we support? Anyway, Henrik Larson was my first idol. Since I was a little girl I’ve loved him. He played football with such conviction and passion. It really was admirable. So I guess I’d invite him pretty much to be starstruck, oh, and of course to ask if he has any plans to work with Celtic again.
Theresa May – Okay so I’m not a Tory by a long shot (I’m hoping we can put our political differences aside here) but I would like to have a serious sit down chat with her about Brexit. Well, not just about Brexit but about how she’s coping. I like to think of myself as an advocate for Mental Health and I think people forget that she is too a human. I mean I don’t know her personally and obviously you have to be pretty resilient and probably a bit snakey to become Prime Minister in the first place but she is getting so much scrutiny over something she didn’t even start so I would like to think she’s okay.
Charlotte Crosby – Haha, the infamous Charlotte Crosby. I find this girl hilarious! She reminds me a lot of myself before I became a mum, not to the extent where I peed in bins but her spontaneity and care free attitude is something I can totally relate to and I think we’d get on like a house on fire. She would liven the dinner party up a bit.
Mary Queen of Scots – So obviously I don’t know much about Mary Queen of Scots however there is one question I’d ask her. Where did it all go wrong?
Jackie Stewart – As I said before I care a lot about mental health awareness and ,in case you didn’t know, Sir Jackie Stewart race car driver of the century has a Charity called Race Against Dementia. It was set up to honour his wife who suffers terribly from Dementia. The only problem with this charity is that it’s not marketed greatly. I’d love to sit down with Sir Jackie Stewart and talk about his experience with dementia and what he feels we can all do for anyone we know suffering with the illness.
Sonny Phillips – Right, this one your probably thinking is that actress that looks kind like Pink. Nope, that’s Busy Phillips. Sonny Phillips was my Grandad. He was a bit of a celebrity as he played football for Cardiff City and even the Scottish national team among many other smaller teams. I’d invite him because sadly I never got to meet this legend. He passed away before my mum even met my dad. I’d love to talk and find out what we have in common and how much we look alike.
