Come Dine With…Mum on a mission for a better life

Every Friday I’ll be posting another dinner guest wish list in my guest series, Come Dine With…

This series asks all sorts of bloggers who their dream dinner guests are, and why. As you’ll find out there is quite an eclectic mix! This weeks dinner guest wish list is from Denise. You can find Denise’s blog over at Mum on a mission for a better life.

So without further ado, let’s Come Dine With… Mum on a mission for a better life

Agatha Christie – Agatha Christie is my most favourite author. One of the first books I read as a young adult was ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ which sparked my love of murder mysteries. Over the years I have read every Agatha Christie novel that I could get my hands on. I would love to be able to talk to Agatha about where her ideas came from and how she came up with so many brilliant mysteries.

Dawn French – I think that Dawn French is such a positive role model as not only is she brilliantly funny, but she also exudes confidence. I think she is beautiful and so talented. I have read all her books too, as she is a writer as well as a comedy actress. It would be great to get some confidence tips from her and I imagine that she would be fantastic at creating a fun atmosphere.

Michael Mclntyre – You can probably tell by now that I love comedy and Michael is my favourite comedian. I love his style and how animated he gets when he is performing on stage and I think that we would all be in floods of tears from laughing so much. I find much of his comedy is funny because of how relatable it is to life, so we would have lots to talk about.

Dwayne Johnson (the rock) – So every dinner party needs some eye candy! Seriously though, I think that he is super sexy, and I have enjoyed most films that he has been in. I think that he would be interesting to talk too as well as he knows so many famous people and I’m sure that he would also have some great stories to tell about his wrestling days.

Marie Kondo – I am a bit late to find out about Marie Kondo and her tidying methods. I literally only heard about her a few weeks ago but I am amazed at how simple she makes things. She seems so at peace with herself and I would love to pick her brain and get some ideas for organising my home.

Anton Du Beke – My strictly favourite! He comes across as such a nice guy and it would be a fantastic finish to an extraordinary dinner party if we could finish with some ballroom dancing.
