Come Dine With…Latte Lindsay
Every Friday I’ll be posting another dinner guest wish list in my guest series, Come Dine With…
This series asks all sorts of bloggers who their dream dinner guests are, and why. As you’ll find out there is quite an eclectic mix! This weeks dinner guest wish list is from Lindsay. You can find Lindsay’s blog over at Latte Lindsay.

So without further ado, let’s Come Dine With… Latte Lindsay
Audrey Hepburn – You can scoff all you want and think that it is a completely basic thing to say but Audrey Hepburn was a badass. She spoke five languages and dedicated the later part of her life to UNICEF (and that was before it was cool). But what I would love to talk to her about is her involvement in the Second World War. Hepburn was witness to some horrific things and was quoted saying, “Don’t discount anything you hear about the Nazis”.
CS Lewis – The writer of the Narnia series is from my neck of the woods and he would be a great person to chat with over a rack of lamb. Not only did he see action in the First World War, he was friends with JRR Tolkien. He was also on the staff at Oxford, so he could give me some tips on writing, grammar and everything in between.
My great-great-great-great-great-great grandmother – Why this granny? I wish I had a photo that I could show you all, but this granny was the last full blood Native American in my family. Before her, my family was part of a tribe. But that is all I know about her. Who was she? Where is the family from? The reason we know very little is because of racism. My heritage was kept under wraps and details from the time were lost. The only thing we had left was a photo that has now gone missing from my grandas house.
Paris Hilton – Before the Kardashians, there was the Hiltons. Paris and company were notorious for their partying and lifestyle. But in recent years, everyone has calmed down. Now, she DJ’s and manages her various fashion outlets. If there is one thing that is certain, Paris would have plenty of interesting stories to tell about the rich and famous of LA.
Reese Witherspoon – Reese is one of my all time favourite actresses, and now she is branching out into production. Reese was one of the first people to spot the differences in how men and women were treated in Hollywood. She then started her own companies for production and they have been a massive success. Could you imagine talking business over chocolate fudge cake? Reese would have you taking over the world before the cheese platter came out!
Cesar Millan – As a dog owner, I would love to pick his brains about my three idiots. And possibly send him out the back to see if he could sort them out! Cesar is one of the best known dog behaviourists in the world, so it would be great to get his perspective on my pack. And if he gets bored, I can always show him how me and huskies like to use a skateboard after a few drinks.
