Attend at least 2 more blogging conferences #101in1001

I attended my first blogging conference in September 2017. It was BlogOn, and I loved it. I was so so shy and nervous though, I didn’t end up speaking to many people. Plus I had a horrific headache, but it didn’t put me off.

When I started writing this list, I decided I wanted to attend at least two more blogging conferences. At the time there were so many different ones around, but several seem to have stopped now. And from talking to lots of other bloggers, the others are so expensive in comparison, and nowhere near as friendly, informative, or relaxed. Plus, none of the other ones have amazing views like this one:

Always a bonus for a Man Utd fan!

And so, in May 2018, and September 2018 I returned to the wonderful north, and to the BlogOn conferences. I have learnt so so much (a fair bit of it I still need to put into practice!), and I have won some amazing prizes. I’ve also met so fantastic brands, however, I have yet to learn to drink enough fluids when I am there, and so often end up really dehydrated and exhausted, and so have one of my killer headaches for the next week or so. I then end up missing out of working with a lot of the brands, as by the time I am well enough to contact them the chance has slipped by. Oh well….next time!

BlogOn, I’ve found, is such a relaxed and friendly conference, and I learn so so much from it! The only downside is that there is always some sessions I really want to go to that I miss, either because they clash with another one, or I’m busy talking to the brands downstairs.

I am so gutted to be missing attending BlogOn this year. I decided I just wouldn’t be able to manage it. Life will be a bit hectic around then…My due date is 15 days beforehand, and Chris is running the London Marathon (link to his donation page!) less than a week before the conference too. And who knows what will be going on with house moves by then (knowing our luck, absolutely nothing!) I decided it would just be too much….even though I have had plenty of offers from fellow bloggers to share the baby cuddles throughout the day!

Either way, I am sure I will be there another year. And at least I can say I have ticked this goal off of my list as well.
